How to speed up your work with Text Blaze?

Time is money. Finding ways to save it can be as valuable as saving money. One practical way to save time is to increase your writing speed, but there’s only so much speed you can gain.

Additionally, many of the paragraphs we write daily are repetitive, like email responses and social media messages. You might already be using templates to help with this, but copying and pasting can be a hassle, leading to clicking and formatting errors.

Meet Text Blaze, your new time-saving superhero. This text expansion tool is your secret weapon for inserting frequently used text templates with ease, thanks to customizable keyboard shortcuts.

Say goodbye to repetitive typing and hello to streamlined communication. it is a Chrome extension that works on any website or app that supports text input.

How to create templates and shortcuts with Text Blaze?

Simply navigate to the Text Blaze dashboard at dashboard.blaze.today.

Click on the turquoise + in the upper left corner to create a new snippet.

In this example, I created a template for sending my Calendly link to potential clients. Now, all I need to do is typing / + hi anywhere in my browser to insert the template text. As you can see, I have also the option to format the text, make it bold, italic or even include links.

But the features of Text Blaze don’t stop here, the “killer feature” of this tool are the dynamic templates:

What are Dynamic Templates?

Currently, dynamic templates are only available for Pro, Business or Enterprise users. They allow you to quickly enter customized values all over the template. For example, I can create a dynamic text field for my Discovery Call Template.

At the moment, dynamic templates are exclusively available to Pro, Business, or Enterprise users. These templates enable you to quickly insert personalized information throughout the document. For example, I could establish a dynamic text field in my Discovery Call Template that automatically populates with the client’s name.

When I am entering the name of the customer into this field, the name is inserted in all the other related fields inside this template.

But this is not everything. With formula fields, you can also create calculations inside your templates. This is for example useful if you need to calculate the order value of a customer.

I recommend checking out Text Blazes’ Youtube channel to see more examples of use-cases and implementations.
